The course is based on Florida state standards for Career and Technical Education (CTE) to help students develop technical knowledge and skills needed for success in the healthcare industry. Semester A focuses on the structure and functions of the human body systems, it will help students identify and understand the medical terminology used for various diseases and medical procedures related to each body system. Semester B will help the students develop an understanding of the industry with a focus on personal and employability skills. Additionally, the students will learn how to implement technology and healthcare tools to collate data and determine treatments.
