Florida Digital Media/Multimedia Foundations 1 A/B

This is an effective and comprehensive introduction to careers in the rapidly expanding world of digital art. The course covers creative and practical aspects of digital art in 15 lessons that are enhanced with online discussions and a variety of activities. Beginning with a history of digital art, the course goes on to issues of design, color, and layout. While students will experience creation of digital art, they will also learn about converting traditional art to digital formats. This Florida course is based on Career and Technical Education (CTE) standards designed to help students prepare for entry into a wide range of careers in the digital media industry.
