There are approximately eight million students currently participating in high school athletics in the United States with many of these students looking forward to earning an athletic scholarship with a NCAA D-I or D-II program. NCAA athletic scholarships are highly competitive, and it takes an intentional group effort to for students to be awarded with one. South Florida Educational Center Private High School is a part of the winning strategy for aspiring athletes with our resources available for independent learning to allow for travel and tournaments. Most importantly students and families will benefit from the affordable tuition for our online high school that are NCAA approved and will satisfy students initial eligibility requirements.

What qualifies a school to be NCAA approved?

SFEC is NCAA approved for athletes looking forward to playing college level sports. We meet the requirements of the NCAA for nontraditional courses:

The high school courses online meet NCAA core course requirements.
The courses must have ongoing and regular teacher-initiated interaction for the purposes of teaching, evaluating, and aiding throughout the duration of the course. This may include synchronous or asynchronous instructive interaction, including emails, videoconferencing, online chats, phone calls, and feedback on assessments,
The courses have a defined time period for completion. This nontraditional program must identify the maximum and minimum paths to effectively complete a course.

Although we cannot help you win games or matches in your sport, we will prepare you for NCAA eligibility and success with our rigorous courses. Our certified faculty provide top-quality instruction for the academic program that you need to thrive as a student athlete.
